OverviewWhen you buy a graphics shop, you are first and foremost buying rights.Introduction
When you buy a graphics shop, you are first and foremost buying rights. Check who drew the icons, fonts and illustrations, and whether all copyrights have been assigned to the seller in writing. If freelancers made anything, their agreements must allow resale and transfer. If elements made by others are used, such as fonts or stock images in mockups, the licences must cover it.

Look at how the products are licensed to customers: personal and commercial use, extended licences and any subscriptions. Licences already sold remain valid after the change of owner, so you take over the promises made to customers. Ask where sales come from: the own shop, marketplaces such as Creative Market or partnerships, and whether accounts can be transferred.
Fonts are often sold with licences per user, per website or per app. Review the licence terms and the largest customers, and see whether there are special agreements with companies. Ask how customers download their files after purchase, and how they will keep doing so once the shop has changed hands.
